Getting Published Is Like Finding That Dorito With all the Cheese

Occasionally my posts get republished on other sites and it’s an awesome thrill for me for two reasons: 1.) It means that at least a few people are actually reading my blog and 2.) It means that someone likes it enough to share it on their own site.

In fact, since I started The Spew in February, it’s been republished seven times! That’s like 1.16666667 times per month. To a more experienced blogger this might seem really insignificant. But for me (as a new blogger and a narcissist), getting published is as exciting as finding that one Dorito in the bag that seemed to get stuck in the nacho cheese flavor machine — and today is one of those days!

My post, HOW A CHICKEN DRAWING WILL KEEP MY DAUGHTER FROM DATING DOUCHEBAGS, has been republished on a blog that has one of the coolest names ever–MrsMuffinTop!

And in case you missed any of The Spew‘s other publications, here’s a big list of all of them:

BonBon Break
Babies Suck

Quit Telling Me About Your Vaganus
The Problem With Marrying A Tall Man

Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop
Stick a Pencil In My Retina

21 Things Your Pre-Pregnancy Jeans Would Say If They Could Breathe
Ghost Fart

And if you visit these sites, don’t forget to leave a really awesome comment about how much you love my post so I can pretend to have lots of fans. (Even a nasty comment is fine. All the best writers have critics. And stalkers. So don’t forget to follow me on Facebook, Twitter and around town on the weekends.)

Thanks for reading!
