The Spew is a new blog that’s gaining speed with every post. It follows the life and musings of humor writer Diana Davis. From justifying polygamy so she can go out drinking with the girls while her sister wives pick up the slack at home, to inventing the word douchepaste (fancy toothpaste for pretentious people), The Spew is the place readers go for a laugh and an unexpected spin (often a narcissistic one) on everything from current events to the most mundane everyday activities.
Diana is a writer but she started as a baker who didn’t bake, a dental assistant to the dental assistant and a shoe saleswoman who gagged around feet.
Since then, she’s written all kinds of stuff for all kinds of companies in all kinds of offices. She’s even written newspaper ads for car dealers–some of her best work has probably lined your birdcage.
She’s also written a few TV spec and pilot scripts. She was a first-place winner in the sitcom category of Scriptapalooza‘s International TV Writing Contest and a semi-finalist in TV Writer.com’s Spec Scriptacular. And one time, way back in high school, she sold an essay to Seventeen.
If for some reason you haven’t had enough of her yet and want to know more, get in touch with her here.
